Big Bend RV Park & Campgrounds
There are three campgrounds in the park with well defined campsites. 25 RV sites in the Rio Grande Village Campground are full hook-up RV sites equipped with water, sewage, and electricity.
RV Site Rate: $34.00 per night, based upon double occupancy, $3 for each additional person

Rates include a utility pass-through surcharge and $1 donation to support the seasonal interpretative ranger programs at Big Bend National Park.

75 RV sites in the Rio Grande Campground and the sites in the Basin and Cottonwood Campgrounds do not have water or electrical hookup, but do usually have a BBQ Grill. Reservations for these sites can be made by calling 877-444-6777. The campgrounds have water available and have lighted restrooms but do not have showers. The campgrounds are self registration and have campground hosts during the busier seasons. Campground fees are deposited in an envelope drop located at the entrance to each camping area. The number of campsites at each campground is as follows: Basin Campground: 63 Cottonwood Campground: 31 Rio Grande Village Campground: 100 There are 116 back-country "zone" campsites and roadside campsites on the primitive roads in the park. These sites do require a free special permit available at Panther Junction Headquarters. Please contact the Park Service at 432-477-2251 for more information. Rates are subject to final approval by the National Park Service (NPS). Should the final rate approved by NPS be higher than your confirmed rate, your confirmed rate will take precedence and be honored. Should the final approved rate be less than your confirmed rate, your rate will be adjusted down to the approved rate.
