Celebrate your next special event at Chisos Mountains Lodge in the scenic Big Bend National Park.

Nestled in the Basin of the Chisos Mountains, Chisos Mountains Lodge is the only lodging within the Big Bend National Park, making it a perfect getaway to celebrate a special occasion. Staying with us, you will have quick access to fun activities within the park, Big Bend tours, and more!

Special Use Permits are required by the National Park Service to hold events or weddings in the park, but for this unique and one-of-a-kind Texas experience, it is worth the extra effort. Please check with the National Park Service to obtain your permit.

We welcome guests wanting family reunions or a special gathering of close friends. We also invite bus tour groups to the site, see the park and stay with us at the Lodge. We have Audubon, hiking, photography, and even painting clubs/groups come to Chisos Mountains Lodge.

Creating lifetime memories is our specialty at Chisos Mountains Lodge. Imagine reciting your vows while overlooking the window view in the Basin of the Chisos Mountains at sunset, or at a spot along the Rio Grande River, or hiking to a remote and hidden part of the park.

Step-On Guides are available through the Lodge for any tour group visiting Big Bend National Park. The Step-On Guide will board your bus. Throughout the tour, they will share interesting facts about Big Bend, such as geology, history, culture, wildlife, and nature.

Note: Please be cautious driving into the Basin. There are several hairpin corners turns leading to the Lodge. Buses especially should be careful with this road, as it is very sharp.
