Known as a premier bicycling location, Big Bend National Park offers a variety of bicycling paths, from roads to terrain. There are over 100 miles of paved roads and 160 miles of backcountry dirt roads, there is something for every guest.
Bicycling is not allowed off-road or on trails. Bicycling is to be done on roads within Big Bend National Park.
Safety Tips:
- Check current weather and road conditions before riding
- Temperatures are high and can be dangerous from May to September
- Obey the traffic laws of the area and share the road with vehicles
- Wear bright and protective gear when bicycling
